Scrapbooking!

I am so excited! For my birthday, Dave got me a scrapbooking program for the computer. I'm just barely trying to get it loaded and start working!!! I love scrapbooking but it will be nice to have the luxury of just doing it on the computer instead of having to go out and buy all the papers, scissors, glue and other things!! Hopefully if it works and I can post some way cute stuff on here.....wish me luck!!

Life in General

After reading some of my friends blogs today, I realized that I'm quite possibly the suckiest blogger ever!! The only time I ever put anything on here is when I have pictures or something exciting happened. Well, I think I will take the time to write a little about life.. December and January have been way crazy months! We spent almost every weekend doing something with my family or Dave's doing family parties, bridal showers, work parties, birthdays and who knows what else. I'm sorry if we've neglected any of you. I promise to do better.
Well this might be kind of scattered but here's a little rundown of life.
Christmas this year was really fun, especially being our first as a married couple. We splurged and bought ourselves a Gamecube for Christmas and have been hooked on it almost every night since we got it. Dave likes to play NCAA football and I love MarioKart. I can't believe how addicting those things are.
Dave started his LAST EVER SEMEMSTER at USU this month!! Can you believe it? Soon, he will be completely finished with his Bachelors degree...what an accomplishment! He is so motivated and hard working. I don't doubt that he will ever be unsuccessful in his entire lifetime because of it.
Obviously in my line of work, a bachelors degree is not needed but that's okay with me because I absolutly love my job!! I work with some really fun people and get to see some of the cutest kids (and some of the dirtiest) but mostly the cutest. I'm starting to become friends with most of the people I work with and it's fun to not be the new person anymore. My birthday was last Tuesday and to celebrate, Dave and I went out to eat with a girl I work with named Deyette and her husband Duren. It was so nice to have friends to celebrate with!! We also went out with my family for my birthday, which was really fun.
Dave's parents came to Logan on Sunday afternoon to visit. They haven't seen our apartment so they came up from Santaquin. We had homemade Cafe Rio burritos at my mom's with them and then went to our apartment to show it off. It was nice having them here. They brought Dave's little sisters Kristen and Katelyn with them. Dave taught them how to play the camecube and they had a blast. His mom even got in on the action. They hung out with Dave on Monday becasue he was out of school for Martin Luther King Day. They went to Hardware Ranch and a bunch of other exciting stuff while I was at work.
Well, I'm starting to ramble. Hopefully I will get better at this blogging thing. I need to update even if I don't have pictures to go along with it. Anyways...I hope everyone is doing well!! SEE YA

Welcome 2009!

Today is New Years Day! This will be me and Dave's 2nd New Year since we've known each other. On Christmas Eve, We were invited to dinner at Hamiltons with my parent, Russ and Kathy Piggott, Ryan and Tawny Piggott, Heather and Colby Rowser, Grandma and Grandpa Pond, and Amy and Casey Jorgensen. After dinner, Dave and I went to the Aggie game with Grandma and Grandpa. They have sweet front row seats. Dave got pretty into the game and was yelling at all the players from the other team. He lost his voice a little. We finished the night out by going to my parents and celebrating the New Year!! Today was so nice because we got to sleep in and spend the day together. Dave and I drove the truck up to Hardware Ranch up Blacksmith Fork Canyon. We looked at the Elk and had a nice drive. It's so nice having a day off of work and being able to spend time with Dave. It's been very nice and I'm sad to go to work tomorrow! HARDWARE RANCH!
